Biothane advocate Malin Hewins set up Trollsmoor in February 2018 with the aim to deliver functional, practical and stylish dog collars and leads. With a passion for dogs and design, Malin produces bright funky dog collars that are completely bespoke to dog and owner. Chief testers Loki and Heidi (Malin’s German Wirehaired Pointers) put the Biothane collars through the toughest of trials, wading through waters, running and skijouring.
We caught up with Malin to find out what inspired her business and why Biothane is her number one material.

Hi everyone! This month I’ve been thinking about the variety of tack and equipment we put on our horses. The saddlery industry is always progressing and now, with more technology being readily available and research being undertaken, it is enabling us as saddlers, horse owners and riders to question the tack and equipment we use on our horses...
For the last two years Abbey has been donating offcuts and part rolls of Biothane to James Slatter and his wife in support of the Paphiaokoa Dogs Home in Cyprus. We wanted to find out more how these materials were benefitting the charity and learn a little bit more about this duo who dedicate so much of their time to the charity.
