Bespoke Hardware

Our foundry utilises new and traditional manufacturing methods to produce high quality products that meet high customer specifications. Our sand casting methods allow us to specialise in small castings on a small scale. Our production team can also offer customers a variety of finishes including, nickel, antique, gold and silver and a full pattern making service.

Abbey’s manufacturing division is proud to serve multiple industries producing bespoke items which are used on a variety of products including belts, satchels, rucksacks, handbags, vintage cars, yachts, horse harnesses, and carriages.

We understand that finding a supplier you can trust and work with can be difficult. That’s why we simplify the process and let our customers know beforehand what they can expect.

Having received an initial design, our production team will assess the design for viability. We do not want to mislead customers and waste their time by committing to a project which outstretches our capabilities. Once your design has been given the thumbs up, our team will work closely with you to agree the sizing and specific details before the pattern is made. Once the pattern is made a sample will be cast and sent to you for approval. Having approved the sample, production will commence and can take 6 -12 weeks.

Bespoke Plaques & Coasters

Our commemorative plaques have served sporting events and agricultural shows around the UK including Hastings Half Marathon, Essex Country Show, Henley’s classic car show and in 2013, our plaques were used to celebrate HM the Queen’s coronation festival at Buckingham Palace. They are the ideal gift to give to your visitors and participants as a medal or plaque.

Our coasters also serve as great favours for wedding parties. Choose from either gold (brass) or silver (nickel plated) finish, our solid brass bespoke coasters will look beautiful in whatever setting. Favours that are small enough to put in a suit pocket or clutch bag, these favours will not be forgotten but will be taken home and cherished.

Whatever you choose, plaque or coaster, simply send us your idea and our artist will come up with the design. From date of confirmation, production takes approximately 6 weeks so please ensure you place your order in good time of your event.
