OUR ARTIST
Ellenanne is our very talented in-house artist. As daughter of our late founder, Gerald Brown, Ellenanne began working for Abbey in 1988. Before we moved online, Ellenanne was responsible for drawing all our fittings, hardware and bits for the Abbey catalogue so she really knows her stuff when comes to selecting the best fittings. ÂWe hope her sketches provide inspiration and encouragement to source quality fittings from the UK’s leading supplier of workshop materials and tools.

To celebrate our sketchbook and all those makers who inspired us, we are launching a brand-new competition today (Wednesday, 16th November 2022) where you will get the chance to win a package of Abbey England products worth in the region of £150!

 Share your wonderful leather creations using the hashtag #sketchbookinspiration between now and Wednesday 14th December 2022. We certainly don't want to miss any of your designs, so we recommend you share your creation as a post, not as a story.

A piece of Sedgwick 1900 Leather in Haig or Bowden (your choice of colour). Approximately 12sq ft.Â
Two cast saddle dee ringsÂ
Two swivel spring hooks, trigger hooks or rein snaps.Â
Two cast whole rollers
Â
The winner will be able to choose the size and finish of all the fittings.
